I wrote my family diary in the Southport Visiter and Formby Times for ten years – embarrassing kith and kin. But for those of you who know nothing about my family, I have three children – now grown up, a retired husband, and a mum.Son number one (30) is a teacher and an artist who lives with his wife in Ainsdale; our daughter (25) is sports mad, wins gold medals for rowing , teaches and is studying for her Masters. The second son (24) is now living in London and working for Innocent Drinks after three golden years at Cambridge University, during which I totally bored friends, neighbours and passers by with my encyclopaedic knowledge of Cambridge colleges, May balls and punting on the river.
